Topic 7 of Blog Every Day In November is 10 Things. I think you’ve had enough lists of facts about me so I thought I’d dig deep, put my shame to one side and share 10 of my most guilty pleasures with you.
So please promise you won’t judge me when you find out about the awful music, films and tv shows that I can’t help but love, OK?
My top ten guilty pleasures
These aren’t in any particular order.
1. Really predictable romantic comedies. You know the ones. You can usually tell just by looking at the cover or poster exactly what’s going to happen. How To Lose A Guy In 10 Days, The Proposal, The Wedding Planner, She’s All That and 27 Dresses to name just a few.
2. Made In Chelsea. What is there not to love about the poshest people on the TV. Francis and Proudlock are my favourites and I’m convinced Mark-Francis is from an entirely different planet.
3. Cheesy girlie pop. Katy Perry, Taylor Swift, Miley Cyrus, you name it I’ll sing and dance along to it. I think it taps into that longing I’ve always had to be a pop star.
4. The X Factor. I always say I’m only watching it to see the audition stages because they’re the most fun and yet somehow I get hooked in and can’t miss a show. I have the current series Sky +’d so I don’t miss one. I don’t even like any of the contestants all that much this year. What’s wrong with me?
5. Christmas films. I’d watch Christmas movies all year round if Tom would let me. He is getting more and more strict on how early I can put Elf or Home Alone each year. The big Grinch.
6. Boy bands. I’ve always been a big boy band fan and I’m pretty sure I should have grown out of it by now but I haven’t. I went to see NKOTBSB when they toured together meaning it was the fourth or fifth time I’d seen Backstreet Boys live. I’m also very excited by the McBusted news that was announced yesterday. I’d rather it was a Busted reunion but I know that will never happen so this is the next best thing.
7. Come Dine With Me. This is a programme I can watch constantly and I mean constantly. I have so many unwatched episodes on Sky + there must be days and days worth waiting for me.
8. Wedding programmes. Even before I began planning my own wedding I loved watching programmes about weddings. My Big Fat Gypsy Wedding, Don’t Tell The Bride and Four Weddings are my favourites.
9. Kids food. I love those things in the supermarket aimed at little kids. From smiley potato faces to Hello Kitty shaped spaghetti and dinosaur chicken dippers I love it!
10. PJ and duvet days. I love having a day on the sofa where I don’t have to brush my hair, change out of my PJs and can drink tea and rubbish food all day.
So there we have it. My top ten guilty pleasures. Do you judge me a bit over any of them? Do you have any that you want to share?
Kisses,
