Choosing my five favourite posts was actually really hard. I couldn’t decide what criteria to choose my posts by. Are they the ones I’m most proud of? The posts I enjoyed writing most? Or the posts that make me think of happy times gone by? I think my top five tend to straddle all these topics and even fall into the “just because” category too.
So, let’s get cracking I guess, in no particular order…
Post 1. The Boundary Rooftop
I went for lunch on the rooftop of The Boundary Hotel in Shoreditch with Tom and my friend Kat. It was such a brilliant day. Gorgeous food, incredible drinks and lovely company. Ace day all round.
Post 2. Girl Crushes
In August last year I told you all about my four favourite famous females (I love a bit of alliteration – sorry!) I shared my obsessive love for Gwen Stefani, Mila Kunis, Zoey Deschanel and Kate Moss. The fact that Mossy’s new line for Topshop has finally been released I’m pretty excited. I can’t believe it’s been so long since the last one.
Post 3. Save The Date
I bloody love our wedding stationery. Lol has done such a brilliant job of it and that’s why I chose this post. Although, I was tempted to pick my latest wedding planning update post instead because that has our wedding invitations on it and that is bloody awesome too. I’m really excited for our wedding, four months seems like ages away still though. Well, it does when I’m sat here like this but then every now and then I go “oh my word, it’s just around the corner.”
Post 4. Rainbow Cake
I got quite a few compliments about this cake. It caused a few near nervous breakdowns; not enough frosting, failed cream cheese frosting, colours not being bright enough but in the end it all worked out fine. I just wish I’d taken a much better photo of it.
Post 5. 31 Before 31
It took me more than a week to get my 31 goals down onto paper with a good few changes along the way and now I’m quite happy with them. As well as in this post, they live in a notebook in my handbag and I do check on them every now and then. I’ve managed to cross a few off but probably less than I’d really like. It’s my first attempt at actually setting goals for the year and I feel good for doing it. I think it’s going to be something I do regularly in future.
What do you think? Do you have any posts that you think should have been in here? Have I been too sentimental in picking my posts? How do you pick your own favourite posts on your blog if you have one?
Kisses,
