Sunday was the main reason for our trip back to Liverpool. It was my mum’s 60th birthday and after her birthday party on Saturday night she decided to have a garden party on Sunday to celebrate her actual birthday and the 60th anniversary of the Queen’s Coronation. It was a way to cross off two of the things on her list of 60 things to do this year to raise money for a couple of local charities.
My day 2 snap is of my lovely mummy on her birthday and H.R.H. The Queen.
This is in one of my favourite places in the world, my parents’ garden in Liverpool. What you can’t see in this picture is that it was decorated to match the Coronation garden party theme with Union Jacks and bunting all around the patio and in the trees.
It was a lovely day, the weather had magically picked up from the overcast, drizzly days we’d seen all week before it and my mum had a great time. It was nice to see her so happy on her special day.
