I’m sorry this post is a bit late. I intended to post it on Thursday but got sidetracked and I guess that’s totally typical of what this post is about and the things I’m determined to get a grip of this month.
I’ve let a lot of little things in my life things slide recently and I’ve decided that with the start of the new month and the start of the first proper week of the month is going to be my new start.
My finances, my weight, my fitness, this blog, everything. Everything has just slowly gone by the wayside over the past couple of months. Back in May I was doing well with working out and watching what I ate, I was also more aware of my spending and had plans. Since then though things have just got in the way and I haven’t been able to keep on track with things.
I need to get back on track with all these things so, this is my mission. August heralds my fresh start. Exercising regularly again, watching what I eat and cutting out the rubbish from my diet again, being careful of my spending and being more productive with my time. I really want to set myself some objectives and make a plan of things I’d like to achieve by the end of this year but that is going to take a little bit more thinking to make them specific and measurable. They need to be definite so I have something tangible to work towards and an actual marker to say I’ve achieved it. This is the part I struggle with usually. I don’t plan specifically enough that I can mark things as done. Which is pretty ridiculous really when you consider how much I love a to do list!
So this is it. My new start, my new beginning, essentially my new year’s resolutions.
