The hash-tag 100 Happy Days has been floating around on my Twitter, Instagram and Facebook feeds for a little while now and I’ve really enjoyed seeing my friends daily slices of happiness so I wanted to join in too.
So, I toodled on over to 100happydays.com and signed up.
I was saddened to see that 71% of people who sign up to this challenge don’t complete it and most of them cite lack of time as their main reason. Does that mean they don’t have time to be happy each day? There must be something that raises the corners of mouth, even just a little bit each day. It is hard to be happy all the time, but that’s not what it’s about.
I’m hoping the 100 Happy Days challenge will help me start noticing the little things that I take for granted that I enjoy on a daily basis. It’s hard to be happy when you’ve had a crappy day at work or you’ve had a fight with a loved one or a million and one other reasons but one happy moment each day has surely got to make things better. A little bit better at least.
I’ll be using the hashtag #100happydays on Instagram and Twitter to document my happy days if you want to keep up with my progress.
Let me know if you’re taking part too so I can follow you and see what makes you happy.
Kisses,
