Despite the fact that we live in a digital age and that my job is for the digital arm of a company, I’m not a very gadgety person. Tom however, lives for gadgets. If he’s being particularly quiet I can usually find him scouring over every word of Gadgets Weekly* on his phone to find out all the latest techy developments.
Due to Tom’s love of gadgets and his birthday being a few days ago I have discovered my new favourite thing though – Google Chrome Cast. It’s very exciting and I sat through the meticulous explanation of all the brilliant things we can now do but most importantly it means I can watch Netflix in bed without fear of falling asleep and knocking the laptop off the bed!! Woo hoo!!! Big, fat, gadgety, smiley face.
Tom’s idea of cool gadgets and my idea of cool gadgets are very different. He likes to be able to make his phone do all sorts of things for him, I usually happy if mine choses to work that day. (I hate my phone and am counting down the days to my upgrade. I’m sorry Apple I’ll never stray from an iPhone again.) Anyway, there’s only one things that is top of the gadgets pops for me and that is one of these bad boys.
Yep, the dreamiest of all the gadgets is a Kitchenaid Artisan Stand Mixer ideally in ice blue or pistachio green. Sadly, I don’t have £400 to spend on a food mixer… or anything at all actually but especially not a food mixer. No matter how lovely and shiny and beautiful it is.
