Foodies Festival Christmas Giveaway

At the end of this month the Foodies Festival Christmas is coming to the Truman Brewery in East London and I am pretty excited. I love food festivals! Plus, it’s the weekend before my birthday (it’s on 28th to 30th November) so it would be rude not to eat my body-weight in goodies, surely?

This is probably the closest I’ll get to any Michelin starred chefs for the foreseeable future too. There will be loads of them there though. Robert Ortiz of Lima, Jesse Dunford Wood of PARLOUR, Kurobuta’s head chef Scott Hallsworth, The Bluebird’s Matt Robinson, The Corinthia’s head chef Garry Hollihead, Kim Woodward of York and Albany and Anna Haugh of London House will all be preparing their favourite festive dishes.

We all know how I feel about The Great British Bake Off so the fact that John Whaite and Glenn Cosby will both be there too is reason enough alone for me to go. My love for the Bake Off is second only to my Made In Chelsea obsession so I’m a bit excited that Candy Kittens will also be exhibiting. Fingers crossed I’ll bump into Jamie!!

Apart from my favourite TV shows coming to life in one place, the thing I think I’m most excited about is that there is going to be a life-size Gingerbread House serving warm ginger beer and roasted ginger marshmallows! I mean, wow! How exciting is that?
