When I saw that the suggested Blog Every Day In May topic for today was home sweet home I got a bit excited. You see, the weekend I went a bit mad on the John Lewis website and ordered my some happy.
One of the things I ordered was possibly the best lamp I’ve ever seen in the world ever. Bold statement I know so let me show it to you.
Yep, that’s right! My new lamp is in the shape of a dinosaur. It is, in fact, called the Dino Was Here table lamp and both Tom and I are desperately awaiting its arrival.
I know it’s meant to be for a kid’s bedroom but it’s going to live in our lounge.
Despite calling our flat home for about three or four years now we still haven’t really finished it. There are loads of things that we really could do with and we’ve never had any lamps in the living room. As a result, we’ve always sat under the harsh overhead lights. Now, well soon, we’ll have a statement lamp to start us off!

Ha, I totally ignore the rules about what is for adults and kids.In my Home sweet home post, I showed our ceiling lampshade which was totally for a kid’s bedroom when I picked it up! And I wear aged 12-13 clothes and was told by 6 children at school that they had the same jumper as me (and worryingly, two in the same size!!!!)
