I love pancakes. American ones, English ones, crepes, savoury, sweet, a combination of the two. You name it, I’ll probably eat it! So any excuse to stuff my face with them is a winner in my book and a whole day dedicated to them? Score!
Mmmm. I’m a bit of a traditionalist when it comes to topping choices on this most wondrous of days though and will be devouring stacks of them covered in sugar and lemon juice later. Yummy! My mouth is watering just at the thought of it!
I’ve had a few pancake disasters in my time but this recipe from Good To Know comes with a video tutorial so you can compare every step of the way. They also have a pancake SOS section to solve all your pancake woes.
Now you know how to make the tastiest pancakes it would be rude not to share this with all your friends.
If you do choose to hold a belated pancake party this weekend, which I highly recommend you do, you’re going to need some super-duper kitchenware to show off with too. Luckily the wonderful How Kapow (yes, I know I go on about them a lot!) have everything you may need.
With this marvellous mix and measure jug your milk measuring will be super stylish. Plus it’s microwave and dishwasher safe and holds a bloody huge 1000ml. You’ll have to make a lot of pancakes with that much milk!
I’ve already mentioned I’m a sucker for the traditional mix of sugar and lemon so the fact that this ace juicer matches the mix and measure jug means it’s perfect for pancakes! And it says squeeze on it… how cute?
I couldn’t finish this little round-up without finding a beautiful sugar bowl too, could I? And none compare to the cuteness of these little birds. One is a milk jug the pours milk through its beak and the other is a sugar bowl where your teaspoon will form the tail of the wren. Amazing! Love it, there’s nothing more to say!
Enjoy your pancakes.
