I decided I wanted to start paying more attention to what I wear. I’ve fallen into a bit of a rut recently and just throw on the same things over and over again. So, I thought, if I was taking pictures of what I was wearing I’d put some more thought and effort into it. In short, I’ve been a lazy bum recently and need to shake myself out of it.
If you follow me on Twitter or Instagram you may have noticed I went to Hogwarts In The Snow at the weekend. I posted a couple of pictures over there, just one or two you know, it’s not like I was super excited or anything! *Sarcasm* I’ll blog fully about the day soon.
I forgot to take proper shots of my outfit so here I am at Privet Drive. These aren’t exactly the most flattering photos but never mind.
I knew I needed to be comfortable for spending a few hours on my feet and wasn’t sure how warm it would be so piled on a few layers. I’m pretty much cold all the time so I like to layer up. I went with a long-line vest, checked shirt, cardigan and leather jacket teamed with my trusty high-waisted jeans. My “L” scarf was a Christmas present from my friend and I’ve pretty much worn it every day since then.
Other than that I wanted to mentioned my little shiny ankle boots*. They are pretty much the most comfortable things ever to grace my feet. They are from House Of Fraser and are black, patent, crocodile patterned ankle boots. They’re cut a lot lower than boots I would normally choose but they go with everything. They’re the only shoes I took home for Christmas too. That’s how much they go with.
I’m not usually a fan of patent leather but these guys have won me over. They are definitely my go to boot now.
I promise next time I’ll take better outfit posts.
Kisses,
