As I’m getting older I’m getting more concerned about the ingredients in my skin care products. So when I was given the opportunity to try out some natural beauty products from Zuzka I jumped at the chance. I was sent a fruit enzyme foaming cleanser* and an argenine hydroxy rejuvenating cream* from the botanicals range to try. This range is full of products to brighten and illuminate skin. The argenine hydroxy also claims to be their botanical Botox formula. I’m pretty sure that beauty companies are trying to stress me out by sending me anti-aging products to review (like this mask) hopefully I don’t look like I need them and that they just keeping me looking as “young” as I do right now.
I loved the moisturiser. It smelt lovely and smoothed on really nicely. It didn’t leave my skin feeling clogged up or oily and sunk in quite quickly leaving a nice base for my make up.
I was less impressed with the cleanser though. I didn’t really like the scent of it and although it wasn’t unpleasant it just wasn’t to my taste. I also wish that it had foamed up a little bit more. I did feel fresh and clean after I used it though so it definitely did its job.
I do feel like my skin feels a lot nicer after my trial of these two products. I’m not breaking out quite as much and my skin feels softer. Also, I think that as my skin has been feeling and looking a lot better, I’ve been wearing less face make up on a day-to-day basis which is also making it feel and look a bit better. What a nice circle of events to be in!
I don’t think I’d buy the facial cleanser again but I am tempted by the chocolate cleansing cream instead because I do like the product, I’m just looking for one that I prefer the smell of. I do think I’ll re-buy the moisturiser though, it was lovely.
Have you got any natural beauty brands that I should look at? Have you tried any Zuzka products? Let me know your favourites.
