This is The Futureheads as you’ve never heard them before!
Following on from their awesome a capella album, Rant, they are releasing a gypsy-punk, acoustic version of The Beginning Of The Twist and by gosh is it good!
You don’t have to take my word for it, just take a listen here:
The Futureheads – the Beginning Of The Twist (Acoustic)
Mega, no?
The Futureheads are set to play an a cappella & acoustic headline show at London’s Shepherd’s Bush Empire on September 19th, where they will be supported by Mercury Prize nominees Sweet Billy Pilgrim. They also have a cappella dates in Belfast and Dublin and close their very own Split Festival alongside the likes of Pulled Apart By Horses, Saint Etienne and PiL, fronted by British punk icon John Lydon. So, get out there and see them if you can.
