I’m sure it comes as no surprise that I like to change my hair colour, a lot. Most recently, I’ve been playing with really unnatural colours and a variety of shades. At the moment my hair is a sort of pastel turquoise-y colour.
I haven’t planned my next trip to the hairdressers but I do think I know what I want on my next visit – red. (Obviously, judging from the title of this blog post.) Red hair is calling to me for these colder months. As though moving away from the crazy colours will make me warmer. I’m also trying to grow it too. Especially after seeing some of the gorgeous hair I pinned to my inspiration board.

Dreamy, no? I know my hair would never get that long. It tends to start growing out rather than down once it gets just past my shoulders. I’ll be honest, this makes me really sad. Since I was a little girl I’ve dreamed of having long princess hair. *sad face* Instead I always end up with a massive bush on my head. It might not get super long but it is really thick. So it can be a bit of a pain to work with. In fact, I’m putting this out there now. If you have any tips or products for dealing with super thick hair please throw them this way. I’ll be very, very grateful. I am quite lazy when it comes to styling my hair generally for this very reason. It takes so long to blow dry it that my arms get tired and sore and I have to put aside about an hour to actually get it straight. Ponytails and buns are always the preferred style, especially on work days for this reason.
What do you think?
