While I was off work and visiting the families I worked hard on undoing all the good work I’d previously done with my new better lifestyles changes. I did no exercise, apart from walking the dog once and ate my body weight in cheese, cake and chocolate. My three favourite things!
Since I’ve been back in London though I’ve jumped back on the wagon and have been very conscious of my portion sizes and what I’m eating. Rather than mindlessly shovelling it in like I did at home!
This is the rather colourful and pretty fruit salad I made myself yesterday to go in the freezer. Berries freeze pretty well and frozen grapes are one of my favourite things to nibble on when I’m watching my weight. I think it’s because they’re frozen that they take longer to eat so I don’t scoff them as quickly.
I did find half a kilo of brie in my bag when I unpacked at home though and I swear it calls to me every time I open the fridge!
