Today is the first weekend I’ve spent in my own home in a few weeks. Now that doesn’t mean I’ve missed being here. It just does mean that I haven’t had a chance to do any cleaning and it’s gotten awfully dusty around here.
As we’re off out tomorrow for (my sister in law to be) Faye’s 21st birthday celebration tea party today was really the only day I could rope Tom into tackling the mess with me.
We enjoyed the lovely sunshine through the window as we gave the flat a bit of a belated but thorough spring clean. Tom hates it when I bully him into helping me clean up but he will tackle the kitchen for me if I agree to do the hoovering.
Now that our bedroom is all nice and clean I washed and put our new bedding back on the bed. I’m pretty sure it’s because we’re quite childish but being able to get superhero bedding for our double bed was probably our most exciting discovery for a long time. I mean, I’d probably be more excited if it was Batman or Ironman because they’re my favourites but Spiderman, The Hulk and Thor are all on our duvet cover now so it’s still pretty mega.
Do you have any ideas on where I can get more awesome bedding? Grown up stuff is pretty but not as fun!
